  5.     I.  IBM 4039 LaserPrinter PostScript Driver for Harvard Graphics 3.0.

  8.         STOP!!!  Read the following paragraph before proceeding!

  10.         In order for these drivers to be recognized you must have Harvard
  11.         Graphics Version 3.05 (or later) software update installed.  To
  12.         determine the version of your software, at the Main Menu press
  13.         Ctrl V (control button and letter v).  If you need the update, it
  14.         is available from Harvard Graphics by calling their customer service
  15.         at (408) 988-7518.

  30.    IV.  INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  32.         Assuming the new driver is on a diskette and you are inserting it in
  33.         the "A" drive the command to install the driver will be as follows:
  34.  
  35.               A:\> COPY PS35NA.PN3 C:\HG3\DRIVER
  36.  
  37.         Note: If you have Harvard Graphics 3.0 installed in a different drive
  38.         or directory, alter the Copy command accordingly.
  39.  
  40.         Press Enter and the driver will be copied into the Harvard Graphics
  41.         Driver sub-directory.
  42.  
  43.             The driver may now be selected:
  44.  
  45.                 * Start Harvard Graphics 3.0
  46.  
  47.                 * Main Menu, select "Setup 8".
  48.  
  49.                 * Select Printer 1 or 2.
  50.  
  51.                 * Move cursor to "Printer Type", press F3.
  52.  
  53.                 * Move cursor to IBM 4039 LaserPrinter PS, press Enter.
  54.  
  55.                     - Output Port, Paper Size, Quality, etc. may also be set
  56.                       at this time.

  58.                 * Use Esc button to return to the Main Menu.

  60.             The driver is now installed.

  70.         A. Print Quality/Resolution Settings:

  72.                The Harvard Graphics 3.0 software has three print quality
  73.                settings (Modes) in the "Output to Printer" Menu, sub-section
  74.                "Quality" as follows:

  76.                    1. Draft Mode       2. Medium Mode         3. High Mode

  78.                The IBM 4039 LaserPrinter PS series driver has two print
  79.                resolution settings as follows:

  81.                    1. 300 dpi          2. 600 dpi

  108.            If you select the "Use Tray Matching Paper Size" Option, the
  109.            printer will use the tray that contains the paper size selected
  110.            for the current chart.  If this paper size is not contained in
  111.            the printer, the printer front panel will prompt you for the
  112.            paper.
